Join us for a conversation on designing high-impact research that advances the evidence base for teaching kitchens. Drawing from over a decade of experience leading studies—from small pilot projects to large scale, multi-site clinical trials—presenters Jennifer Massa, ScD, and Kate Janisch, MPH, RDN, will share practical and strategic considerations across the research lifecycle. Topics will include participant recruitment, curriculum development, intervention timing, and assessment methods.
The session will also explore future directions in teaching kitchen research, including the integration of personalized nutrition and mental health outcomes. Attendees will gain actionable insights to inform the design and implementation of their own programs and contribute to a growing, rigorous body of evidence.
