Teaching kitchens thrive on strong partnerships within their unique food ecosystems to amplify impact and reach. This session will delve into how teaching kitchens can and must effectively collaborate interprofessionally and with local organizations to enhance their programming and community engagement. Discover the wide range of culinary medicine programs and teaching kitchen facilities within the University of Utah’s academic and health systems and surrounding communities, as well as examples from other teaching kitchens across the country. Take away strategies for bridging the gaps between healthcare providers, communities and healthcare, and how to implement these practices in your community.
