Drawing from her personal experiences growing up in a food desert in Oak Cliff and her professional expertise, Chef Amber will demonstrate how to transform simple “Food Drive” items into nutritious and delicious meals. The session aims to enhance culinary education, raise awareness about food deserts, and foster community engagement and partnerships in the Dallas area to combat food insecurity.
